About PSM

The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification provides extensive knowledge and deep understanding of Scrum and the ability to apply it in real-world situations. The PSM certification is designed to induce the right knowledge needed to successfully become Professional Scrum Masters. However, there are three levels of PSM assessments that one can pass, in order to achieve the badge of mastery in Professional Scrum Master.

About PSM I

The PSM I is intended for individuals who want to validate their understanding and knowledge of the Scrum framework and its application. Besides this, PSM I certified holders prove that they understand Scrum as described in the Scrum Guide and have proficiency in applying Scrum in Scrum Teams. There are no formal prerequisites required for taking the PSM I certification course.

About PSM III

The Professional Scrum Master level III assessment is exclusively designed by Scrum.org for individuals who have passed the PSM I and PSM II assessments and want to achieve the level of Scrum mastery.
